This program is recommended for students of all ages and abilities who enjoy playing and have a desire to improve their musical skills. The music instruction provided during the summer program emphasizes the development of fundamentals, technique, and music reading skills through lessons, small ensembles, Band and Orchestra, and sometimes, jazz experiences. The following opportunities are available:
The 2017 Summer Music Program will take place at Charlton Heights Elementary School, from 8 a.m. to noon weekdays. Lessons will be 30 minutes in length. If you know your child’s swim schedule or Summer Forum Session, please indicate that and we will try to avoid conflicts when putting together schedules.
The Summer Music Program will conclude with a concert on Friday, August 4, 2017, at 9 a.m. in the school’s stage area.
