Information meeting for Class Office or Student Government Executive Board, Apr. 26

Anyone interested in running for Class Office or Student Government Executive Board needs to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, Apr. 26 during AAP in the Red Room.  Election Petitions will be distributed at this meeting.

Student News bake sale, Apr. 27 and Apr. 28

Student News will hold a bake sale on Thursday, Apr. 27 and Friday, Apr. 28 behind the library during homeroom.

Mandatory National Honor Society Meeting, Apr. 27

Attention all newly inducted juniors of the National Honor Society and all senior National Honor Society members:  there will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday, Apr. 27 during AAP in the Red Room.  Senior NHS members will meet from 2:30 until 2:45 p.m.  Newly inducted Junior NHS members will meet from 2:50 until 3:15 p.m.

18th Annual Science Research Symposium, Apr. 27

Please join the Science Research class on Thursday, Apr. 27 at 7 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria for the 18th Annual Science Research Symposium.  All students will be presenting poster or PowerPoints of their research to date.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: Prom permission form deadline, Apr. 28

If you plan on attending the prom with a freshman or sophomore or a student from another high school, you must submit a completed permission form.  Permission forms are available in the Principal's office and must be returned by Friday, Apr. 28.

Upcoming Important Senior Information

  • Graduation rehearsal will be held at the high school on Monday, June, 19, 2017 at 10 a.m.  All graduates who plan to participate in the graduation exercises must attend the rehearsal.  Rehearsal should last no more than an hour and a half.  Caps and gowns will be available in the gym that same day from 8:30 until 10 a.m.  The cap and gown fee is $25.30.
  • Graduation will be held at noon on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at SPAC.  Tickets are not required.
  • Stop in at Mail & More on Route 50, Burnt Hills to order your graduation invitations.

BH Rowing Race results

Congratulations to Varsity Rowing on their first race this spring, the Manny Flick Regatta in Philadelphia.  Results are as follows: Girls Freshmen Double - 2nd, Boys Varsity Quad - 6th, Girls JV Quad - 9th, Boys JV Four - 10th, Boys Freshmen Double - 11th, and Boys Varsity Double - 19th.

Burnt Hills Cheerleading Conditioning/Open Gyms, May 2 thru May 30

Burnt Hills Cheerleading will hold cheer conditioning/open gym classes every Tuesday from May 2 thru May 30 in the Middle School back gym from 3:45 until 5:30 p.m.
