SUNY Smart Track is a collection of resources to help students and families with financial aid. Additional resources can be found at www.suny.edu/smarttrack.
Each year, BH-BL receives numerous local and national scholarship opportunities. Scholarship applications and information can be found on the Scholarship Board in the counseling center. Students are encouraged to stop down frequently and take a moment to look through all the offerings. Students should see their counselor with questions. For many years, BH-BL High School has offered its students a wide variety of College in High School (CHS) courses that allow students to earn college credit for specific courses while still attending high school. Students who have completed these courses are responsible for requesting their own transcripts through the college that sponsors the course. BH-BL has no record of whether a student registers for college credit through their high school course; the student will need to contact the college directly. [COLLEGE_TRANSCRIPT_INFO]
The four BH-BL High School counselors assist with course selection, career interest inventories, computer-assisted career and college counseling, college admissions and post-high school planning, advisement, financial aid and scholarships, as well as job search information.
