There are many places for students to find scholarship information at BH-BL. The counseling center frequently updates this info and encourages students to periodically check the scholarship board in guidance, Naviance scholarship tab, and scholarship search engines that can be found under our Financial Aid & Scholarships link in the upper right corner of this page. Seniors looking for help on the Common Application are encouraged to attend the counseling center's help sessions being held every Monday and Friday during lunches throughout October and November. This is a great opportunity for students to get their college applications done and have questions answered along the way with a guidance counselor nearby. Students will need to sign up in the counseling center in advance.
The Belanger School of Nursing is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, Nov. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Learn about the admissions process, the nursing profession and programs, meet faculty and students, and tour the state-of-the-art facility. For more information call (518) 831-8810. [FLYER]
For many years, BH-BL High School has offered its students a wide variety of College in High School (CHS) courses that allow students to earn college credit for specific courses while still attending high school. Students who have completed these courses are responsible for requesting their own transcripts through the college that sponsors the course. BH-BL has no record of whether a student registers for college credit through their high school course; the student will need to contact the college directly. [COLLEGE_TRANSCRIPT_INFO]
The four BH-BL High School counselors assist with course selection, career interest inventories, computer-assisted career and college counseling, college admissions and post-high school planning, advisement, financial aid and scholarships, as well as job search information.
