office today at 2:20 p.m.
The High
School Fine Arts Department presents Arts
Fest today & tomorrow. Arts Fest is open to
the public during the Budget Vote today and
continues for students, faculty & staff
tomorrow with exhibits & performances.
Teachers are invited to bring their classes
from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May
22nd. Please support the efforts of our
talented student artists and musicians!
The
cafeteria would like to thank everyone for
participating in the afterschool program
which will start up again next school year!

The Class of
2013 Senior Banquet will be held on Friday,
June 7th. Tickets will be sold starting on
Wednesday, May 22nd during lunch. The cost
is $32 and checks should be made payable to
BH-BL CSD. Tickets WILL NOT BE SOLD after
Thursday, May 30th!
Important
Attendance Information – all notes must
include a telephone number & reason for your
absence. Excuses need to be turned in by
10:54 a.m. Any notes after that time need
to be brought to the Main Office so you can
be signed out by your Assistant Principal.
Today’s “SAT
Word of the Day” is CAPTIVATE – to get the
attention of, hold. Today and tomorrow, our
Fine Arts Department is hosting the annual
Arts Fest. Be sure to stop in to the gym
where our musical groups and artists are
sure to captivate you.
Frosh show
your spirit! The Freshmen Class is selling
T-Shirts during lunch for $10-$12!
Attention
All Students: How are your Competitive Kan
Jam skills? Beach-style Volleyball Digs?
Extreme Badminton Might? If you have what
it takes, please sign up in the cafeteria
for our first annual Spart-A-Thon! This
event will take place today thru May 23rd
during AAP. 2-4 people teams for a $2 a
person fee. The winning team in all 3
events will win a $25 Dunkin Donuts gift
card & with all proceeds donated to the
NH-BL Giving Tree.
Junior &
Senior Art Students must take down their
Arts Fest displays during Block 4 or
afterschool only on Wednesday, May 22nd.
All work must be out of the gym by 3:30
p.m. It is your responsibility to take your
work home or to arrange to have a friend do
this for you.
LeFont will
meet in Room 116 on Wednesday during AAP!
The Powder
Puff Football game will be held on Thursday,
May 23rd on the football field during AAP.
The
pre-season meeting for boys’ volleyball will
be on Thursday @ 2:40 p.m. in the Red Room.
Attention
all basketball players: The first open gym
will be held on Friday, May 24th from 7-8:30
p.m.
Dress Code
Reminder – Undergarments should be covered
at all times. Students shall not wear
clothing that is revealing or see-through
(including those that expose one’s midriff
or otherwise potentially expose private
parts of the body, such as tube tops,
halters, and similar garments). Students
dressed inappropriately will be asked to
change their attire and may be subject to
additional consequences for repeat offenses.

-Stevens Elementary is looking for help with
their Spring Fling on Friday, June7th.
Times between 3:30 and 8 p.m. are
available. Please see Guidance for details.
-NYS Special
Olympics Capital Region Games need
volunteers on June 1st at Shenendehowa HS.
