Two Stevens Odyssey of the Mind teams advance to states

Congratulations to the Stevens Elementary School students who competed in the Odyssey of the Mind regional  tournament on Saturday, March 5. There were five different teams from Stevens, and two of them are advancing to the state level competition in April.

Odyssey of the Mind is an international creative problem-solving program that encourage students to come up with creative solutions to challenging problems. Each team is comprised of five to seven student who spend months working together to creatively solve one of five long-term problems. The teams compete within their division by presenting their solution in an eight-minute skit. There is an additional spontaneous component each team participates in.
