Class of 2021 Breakfast and Presentation of Honor Roll Medals

Friday, June 9th, 8 to 9 a.m., Middle School Cafeteria

The entire Class of 2021 will participate in a breakfast held in their honor. Qualifying students will receive an honor roll medal at this breakfast. Students will then depart for The Great Escape (details to follow in May).

The Class Night Event Friday, June 16th, 7 to 10 p.m., Middle School Cafeteria

Every student is strongly encouraged to attend this once in a lifetime event! Major preparations are already underway by our PTA and O’Rourke faculty for this over-the-top, semi-formal dance and class event! Get dressed up, have
your photos taken and dance the night away with your friends! AND IT’S ALL FREE!
Just some of the event highlights include:

★ A video montage prepared for the Class of 2021 highlighting their middle school years
★ Distribution of the class gifts to each student
★ DJ and dancing
★ Free food and beverages
★ A live performance by surprise special guests

In keeping with the School Code of Conduct and O’Rourke Building Council guidelines, the following rules apply:
✓ All electronic devices, including cell phones and cameras, are banned from this event.
✓ The PTA will provide opportunities for formal and candid pictures during the dance. Forthcoming information will
explain how those pictures can be accessed.

In the spirit of this being a fun, but special event, we ask that the attire for the evening be dressy, but not formal.

➢ Boys should wear dress pants, a dress shirt, tie and shoes. No sneakers, if possible. Sport coats are optional.
➢ Girls should wear comfortable, but dressy clothing. Appropriate clothing for this occasion can include, but is not
limited to: dresses with spaghetti straps, high cut halter dresses/tops, and other fashions fitting to the formality of
the event. Girls should not wear low cut dresses (front and/or back), bare midriff outfits, strapless attire, mini
skirts, clothing that is too tight or revealing, or anything that is see through.
➢ Comfortable footwear is a must because students will not be allowed to remove their shoes during the dance.
