Architects' drawings showing locations of projects in
the Renovations Referendum
Architects' renderings for each school are shown below. Many
projects are for across-the-board improvements that can't be
represented in these drawings, such as replacing the oldest and
most deteriorated sections of roofing, installing more
electrical outlets in classrooms, and updating fire alarm

BH-BL High School

of all projects within the building. Classroom
upgrades are also scheduled throughout the school NOTE: The
STEAM addition is on the right, outlined in black, along the
front of the school. The hallway into this addition would
extend out from the enlarged auditorium foyer.

Fields Additions to the building are shown in
purple. The artificial turf field would replace and be
slightly wider than the existing football field. This
multi-purpose field would be large enough for four sports
and would be striped for all four: soccer, field hockey,
football and lacrosse.

O'Rourke Middle School

A security vestibule by the main front entrance is the only
new construction proposed for this building. In
addition to classroom upgrades throughout the school,
several science labs would receive major renovations, and
the traffic pattern / parking would be redesigned to add
parking spaces and improve students safety.

Charlton Heights Elementary School

In addition to classroom upgrades throughout the school,
Charlton Heights would see construction of a new
workroom/small group learning space and renovation of its
gym.

Pashley Elementary School

In addition to classroom upgrades throughout the school,
Pashley would see construction of a new workroom/small group
learning space, renovation of its gym, replacement of
deteriorated windowsills, and paving work.

Stevens Elementary School

In addition to classroom upgrades throughout the school,
Stevens would see renovation of its gym and a portion of its
library. The main offices would be reconfigured to improve
security procedures at the school's main entrance. The
original, now deteriorated, garage west of the school would
be torn down for more parking, and a new short-term parking,
student drop-off loop would be constructed east of the
school.
