The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Athletic Association sponsors a Hall of Fame.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to honor our high school alumni athletes, coaches, staff and community members who make significant contributions to athletics in the district through their service, performance, dedication and accomplishment. By honoring such commitment, the BH-BL Athletic Association hopes to:
- Establish in our athletes a motivating influence to excel in athletics, as well as the community
- Foster pride, promote good sportsmanship and citizenship in our school and community
- Promote the pride and tradition of BH-BL athletics
Hall of Fame Nomination Guidelines
Candidates for induction into our Athletic Hall of Fame are selected from nominations submitted by community members. Nomination forms are available in the athletic director’s office in the BH-BL High School or can be downloaded here Nomination Form. The annual deadline for submitting nominations is in January, and the induction celebration is held in June. Candidates for membership in the BH-BL Athletic Hall of Fame shall be former BH-BL athletes, coaches, administrators/faculty and community contributors who have met the requirements outlined below.
Alumni Athlete
- Graduated from BH-BL 10 or more years ago
- Received all-section/league award
- Received all-state award
- Recognized award-winner for league, section, state awards
- Received collegiate/professional status
Team
- Received team award 10 or more years ago
- Recognition of achievement at league, section, regional or state levels
Coach
- Coached within the district for more than 15 years
- Served with distinction in the sport programs
Administrator/Faculty
- Has been a staff member for more than 15 years
- Has served with distinction in the BH-BL athletic program
Community Contributor
Went above and beyond for student athletes at BH-BL
