2025-26 Universal Pre-K Program
The district offers a Universal Pre-kindergarten Program for qualified students*. Student acceptance into the program is based solely on a lottery drawing of qualified applicants.
*Children who are 4 years old prior to or on December 1, 2025 and are not eligible for Kindergarten the following school year are eligible for the UPK program. There is no income requirement for eligibility.
Applications are being accepted between Feb. 3 and March 7. Applications received after 3 pm on March 7 cannot be accepted.
Proper paperwork must be completed prior to submitting a UPK application. Only complete applications will be entered into the lottery. Those include the following:
- UPK application
- Residency Questionnaire
- Census Form
- Home Language Questionnaire
- Birth Certificate
- Health Appraisal/Immunization
- Three Proofs of Residency
The lottery drawing for families who turned in completed applications will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10 am in the Board Room in the High School, 88 Lakehill Road.
Families are welcome to attend, but ALL families will be informed of the results immediately following the lottery. Families selected for the UPK program through the lottery and those placed on the waiting list will receive an email notification on Monday, March 17.
