BH-BL students have been making their mark in the local art scene, with several of them earning spots in prestigious regional art shows. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication to their craft has been recognized in various art exhibitions, showcasing the talents of students from Kindergarten through high school.
This year, we celebrate the achievements of the following students who have been accepted into several renowned art shows:
- Annual 3-D Art Show hosted by Mohonasen School District. Congratulations to Taylor Cusano, Francesca Fantauzzi, Frankie Wemyss-Purdy, Emily McFarland, and Rexford Winchester
- Annual High School Regional Juried Show hosted by Albany Center Gallery. Congratulations to William Foster (received Juror’s Choice Award), Rexford Winchester, Ari Dillinger, Rosemary DeMarco, Giselle Marerra-Hogan, Liam Welsh, and Aiden MacMillan (received the Vibrational Energy Award in memory of Thomas D’Ambrose) [Times Union Article]

- Media Arts Fest hosted by Niskayuna High School. Congratulations to Eva Tomasky, Bethany Bearce, Elias Moon, Isabella Kenneally, Jared Iwaniec, Nicole Backus, Lily Winkler, Garrett Skinner, Shawn Giamalis, Ryan Downs, and Conor McDaniel
- Annual BOCES Art Show. In addition to these outstanding accomplishments, several other exciting art shows are coming soon:
- April 1-28 (during regular library hours). District K-8 Art Show at the Ballston Community Public Library. This display promises to be an inspiring celebration of our youngest artists’ creativity.
- O’Rourke Arts Fest (May 12, 5pm) & BH-BL High School Arts Fest (May 27, 4-9 pm. BH-BL is gearing up for the highly anticipated Arts Fests at both the middle and high school levels.
