HS Principal Brunson received Distinguished Administrator Award
At the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers (NYSFLT) annual conference and awards banquet on Friday, Oct. 21, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School Principal Tim Brunson was presented with the Sister Rose Aquin Caimano Distinguished Administrator Award.
This award is given annually to an administrator in New York State who has demonstrated exemplary support of foreign language education.
He was nominated by BH-BL Foreign Language teacher Rosine Leloir who shared with the Awards Committee all of the reasons why Mr. Brunson was most deserving of this honor–one of them being his continued support for the field of World Languages.
“As we move into an era of global connectivity, a strong World Language Department becomes even more important,” says Brunson. “I am proud to support new initiatives in this area that will help this department continue to grow. I was honored to receive this award and am thankful and incredibly fortunate to work with such dedicated and enthusiastic colleagues.”
