BH-BL’s music students have once again demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication by being selected for prestigious regional and state music festivals this year. Students from our orchestra, band, jazz, and choral ensembles were honored with opportunities to participate in the 2024-2025 Suburban Council Music Festival, Area All-State Music Festival, NYSSMA Conference All-State Music Festival, and Saratoga-Warren County Music Educators Association Festival.
“These competitive experiences highlight the outstanding musical abilities of our students and the strength of our district’s music education programs,” says Fine Arts Director Sarah White.
These festivals provide BH-BL students with extraordinary opportunities to collaborate with talented musicians from across the region, perform under the direction of distinguished guest conductors, and showcase their musical skills in professional concert settings. Participating in these events allows our students to experience advanced musical repertoire, learn from accomplished musicians, and represent our school district with pride. The selection process for these festivals is highly competitive, requiring students to demonstrate exceptional musical technique, skill, and potential.
“We are immensely proud of our students’ musical achievements and the hard work of our music faculty who have nurtured and supported their artistic growth,” adds White.
