We love our community!
The BH-BL HS Interact Club Interact typically holds its district-wide food drive to support the community every holiday season. This year, however, due to the pandemic club members decided to hold a virtual food drive by collecting money and gift cards to be used to purchase food and other items–it was just as successful.
The entire district was able to collect a total of $5,919.94 in money and gift cards that will be used by a coalition of interfaith churches, Captain CHS, and each of our schools this holiday season to buy food and gifts for local families in need.
“There are not words of gratitude sufficient enough to describe the overwhelming response to this campaign,” says Interact Club Advisor Cheryl Back. “The care and commitment to community is in large part the reason we chose to live and work where we do. Thank you for caring about our village.”
