BH-BL Students Participated in Pro Musica Choral Festival
Congratulations to the BH-BL High School students who were selected to perform in this weekend’s Albany Pro Musica Choral Festival (Jan. 21) at the UAlbany Performing Arts Center. They were chosen by application to sing in a
175 member choir made up of students from more than 30 schools across the Capital Region. Nice job, Emily Burdikoff, Rebecca Friedman, Claudia, Roberts-McCabe, Hannah Countermine, Katie Ziegler, Jessica Simmons, Jana Johnson and Skyler Bates.
In addition, congratulations to Rebecca Friedman who was also selected to be a singer in the Honor Choir along with the main Festival Choir. The Honor Choir is a highly selective, 24-member chamber group of exceptional talent that performed a featured piece at the concert. The Honor Choir students are also invited to participate in the Pro Musica International Choral Festival in July 2023, a week-long festival at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
